What's on
The next few weeks.
Everything below is open to anyone who turns up. Nothing needs booking.

Choral Evensong for St Michael
The choir sings Stanford in B flat. Half an hour, candlelit, and you may leave whenever you like.
The Parish Supper
AUG 14One long table in the yard. Bring a dish if you cook, and nothing at all if you don't.
Blessing of the Animals
AUG 30Dogs, cats, one memorable goat. Outdoors, brief, and cheerfully chaotic.
All Souls Requiem
SEP 8We read the names of those the parish buried this year. Come whether or not you knew them.
Who we are
An old parish, kept plainly.
Psalmly Hill has kept the same hours on the same corner since 1874 — morning prayer, a sung evensong, and a table anyone may come to. We are an ordinary parish: older than most of us, plainer than you might expect, and glad you are reading this.

Bulletins
What we have been working through.
Each Sunday's order of service, kept as it was printed — the sermon, the readings, the hymns.
Giving
The open hand.
Giving here is worship before it is a budget line, and it is nobody’s admission fee. The plate passes on Sunday; let it pass. If you would rather not wait for it, a single card gift takes about a minute.
Members with an account can set up something regular from inside the same window.
Where it goes
Life together
Find your people
A parish is not a programme. These are simply the places people gather during the week.

Children & Youth
Sunday mornings and a Wednesday supper club. Loud, and unapologetically so.

Choir & Orchestra
Thursday rehearsals. Sight-reading helps; enthusiasm helps more.

Table Groups
Eight or nine people, one house, every other week. We will point you to the nearest.

Care & Recovery
Confidential, lay-led, and open to anyone — parish or not.
Beyond the parish
Further than this block
Three partnerships we have kept for more than a decade, not three we picked this year.
Charleston
A winter shelter on Cannon Street, staffed by the parish six nights a month.
Port-au-Prince
A school of 240 children. We have paid its teachers since 2009.
Iringa
A clinic and a well, shared with three other parishes in the diocese.

Nothing written here is a substitute for turning up.
Come once, sit at the back, leave the moment you like. If it isn’t for you, no one will telephone.
